Fruit is nature's sweetener. Packed with vitamins and minerals, fruit is one of the most powerful natural antioxidants.
Most people associate fruits with its high Vitamin C content, and most of the time they'd be right. But fruits – generally – are also high in Vitamin A, copper, iron, fiber and folate. Many fruits are also high in Vitamin B6, Vitamin K1, and Vitamin E, as well as high in carotenoids like beta-cryptoxanthin and lutein+zeaxanthin.
These vitamins and minerals are far from a comprehensive list, because there are so many different types of fruits out there with varying properties and nutritional content.
